Gotts' Landing

Gotts’ Landing, located in Mio, Michigan near the banks of the famous Au Sable River, has a long history of providing canoe, kayak and tubing adventures.

Founded over thirty years ago Gotts’ Landing has always been family owned and operated, and is one of the most established liveries in Michigan. Dean and Marjorie Gotts bought the livery in 1976 and renamed it Gotts’ Landing. After forty years of growing the business, the Gotts sold their livery to another couple, Steve and Kim Priestap. The Gotts’ Landing name has become synonymous with great service, so Steve and Kim kept it.

The Au Sable River is Michigan’s most beloved river. Come spend a lazy summer day with friends and family in one of our canoes, kayaks, rafts, or tubes. You will see all kinds of wildlife including eagles, blue herons, and turtles sunning themselves on the rocks. Pack a lunch and picnic at one of the many marked rest stops along the way to your final landing.
